EmotivPRO - V1.2 Error: Connecting to Service

In case you have not updated your version of EmotivPRO to the latest version, please follow the steps below:

  • Please restart your machine
  • Start EmotivPRO and update to the latest version
  • After updating EmotivPRO, wait at least 30s so Cortex Service can start.

In case EmotivPRO v1.2 has not updated successfully, please follow the steps below to troubleshoot:

  • Please restart your machine
  • Please wait at least 30s so the Cortex Service can start.

In case the restart option does not work to troubleshoot EmotivPROv1.2

  • Check windows host file at path C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts
  • Ensure the host file contains the following content on a separate line
    127.0.0.1 emotivcortex.com

In case the restart option does not work to troubleshoot EmotivPROv1.2

In case either restart or reinstallation option do not work, please ask the customer to confirm a teamview session with our QA and DEV.
